Emerald Hills Institute

The Emerald Hills Institute proudly hosted an eight-week introductory Turkish course that offered participants a welcoming and immersive learning experience. Meeting once a week in person, the class introduced students to the fundamentals of the Turkish language, including essential vocabulary, spelling patterns, sentence structure, and prefix–suffix conjugation. Each session combined instruction with interactive practice, encouraging participants to speak, ask questions, and build confidence in a supportive environment.

Beyond language, the course highlighted the richness of Turkish culture. Participants enjoyed a traditional Turkish dinner, where they learned about cultural etiquette, hospitality traditions, and the social norms that shape host–guest relationships in Turkey. This cultural exchange created a warm atmosphere and sparked meaningful conversations among attendees.

The class not only offered new skills but also fostered genuine connections and friendships. One participant shared:

“I loved learning about the culture, being able to ask questions, and having meaningful discussions while learning the language. I also made some wonderful friendships. Such a great class. Teşekkür ederim.”
