Emerald Hills Institute

Emerald Hills Institute was honored to participate in the 2025 Utah Conference on Community Engagement, hosted by the Transforming Communities Institute at Utah State University. In partnership with Salt Lake Community College (SLCC) and the Kurdish Community of Utah, our team contributed to a dynamic panel discussion under the Community-Engaged Planning & Programming track.

Our accepted proposal, titled “Interfaith Iftar: A Celebration to Break the Fast,” highlighted our ongoing efforts to foster understanding, unity, and collaboration through shared traditions. We shared insights from our annual Interfaith Iftar gatherings—events that bring together diverse communities to break bread, build friendships, and promote peace.

We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with fellow community leaders and share our experiences in creating inclusive, culturally meaningful spaces. Special thanks to our partners at SLCC and the Kurdish Community of Utah for their support and vision.

Emerald Hills Institute remains committed to advancing dialogue and belonging across Utah and beyond.
