On Friday, October 10th, 2025, Emerald Hills Institute (EHI) proudly participated in the Hinckley Institute of Politics 60th Anniversary Celebration, held at the University of Utah. The event honored six decades of the Hinckley Institute’s dedication to civic engagement, public service, and student leadership.
The celebration brought together university faculty, students, alumni, elected officials, and community partners to commemorate the Institute’s longstanding impact on political education and community involvement. Representatives from Emerald Hills Institute joined attendees from across Utah to celebrate this milestone and to strengthen relationships centered on shared values of civic responsibility, dialogue, and service.
Throughout the evening, speakers reflected on the Hinckley Institute’s legacy of empowering students to engage in politics, policy, and public affairs both locally and globally. The program featured inspiring stories from alumni whose experiences through Hinckley internships and programs shaped their professional and civic journeys.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the Hinckley Institute of Politics for their meaningful partnership with the Emerald Hills Institute as a Host Office. Through this collaboration, we’ve had the opportunity to welcome dedicated interns who bring fresh perspectives and enthusiasm to our programs, while gaining valuable real-world experience and life skills.
