Emerald Hills Institute

On May 31, 2025, Salt Lake City came alive with music, movement, and cultural pride as the 22nd Multicultural Ethnic Dance Festival filled the Olympic Legacy Plaza at The Gateway with color and rhythm.

Fifteen talented groups representing cultures from around the world showcased traditional dances, costumes, and music to a crowd of hundreds. From the graceful movements of Irish step dancers to the energetic drumming of Japan’s Kenshin Taiko, every performance was a celebration of heritage and community.

This unforgettable evening reminded us that although we come from many traditions, we are united in spirit. Thank you to our community, performers, volunteers, and partners for making this event a true celebration of culture and connection.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our generous sponsors and grantors who made this celebration possible:

  • Salt Lake City Arts Council
  • ZAP (Zoo, Arts & Parks) Program
