On Saturday, October 18, Emerald Hills Institute hosted another installment of our Community Education Series titled “Protecting Our Teens in a Digital World: FBI Briefings for Parents.” The event featured an FBI representative who led an engaging and informative session on how to keep youth safe online.
The presentation covered critical topics such as cyberbullying, sextortion, online exploitation, extremist content, and social media safety. Attendees gained valuable insights into the challenges teens face in digital spaces, as well as practical tools and best practices for parents to help protect their children.
The evening concluded with an open Q&A session, allowing parents to ask specific questions and share experiences related to digital safety. The event fostered meaningful discussion and reinforced Emerald Hills Institute’s commitment to promoting community awareness, education, and collaboration on important social issues.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the FBI for their partnership and to all the parents and community members who joined us for this impactful conversation.
