We’re honored that Emerald Hills Institute joined Community Partners Against Hate, county leaders, community advocates, and many of you in standing up for respect, unity, and kindness at yesterday’s press conference. Together in Salt Lake County, we reaffirmed that the way we treat one another matters.
During the proclamation recognizing Oct. 20–24 as United Against Hate Week, our partners emphasized: when hate is ignored, allowed to take root, it can escalate into bigger and more destructive acts.
At Emerald Hills Institute:
✔️ We believe every person deserves dignity.
✔️ We commit to creating safe, inclusive spaces where everyone is welcomed.
✔️ We pledge to act — not just react — by promoting empathy, education, and understanding.
We invite you to join us in this mission:
🔹 Speak out if you see bias or hate.
🔹 Reach out and include someone who might feel isolated.
🔹 Model kindness every day — in big ways, and in small.
Let’s show our community that hate has no home here. Let’s show our children what respect looks like. Let’s build bridges, not walls.
