On December 1, Emerald Hills Institute partnered with St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church for a Noah’s Pudding (Ashure) event, bringing together community members to celebrate unity and shared traditions. Attendees were introduced to the history of Ashure, a Turkish dessert rooted in the story of Noah’s Ark, symbolizing gratitude and the importance of coming together.
Guests enjoyed delicious bowls of Ashure, prepared with a blend of grains, fruits, and nuts while engaging in meaningful conversations and learning about the significance of this tradition. The event emphasized the power of food and fellowship in fostering connections across cultures and faiths, leaving participants inspired by the message of harmony and shared humanity.
