On March 15th, the Emerald Hills Institute hosted an Educators Iftar, providing an opportunity for teachers and school staff to learn about the experiences of their fasting students during Ramadan. This gathering aimed to foster greater awareness and understanding of the religious practices observed during this holy month. Suzanne Hyland, a member of the Cottonwood City Council, offered remarks on the importance of supporting students of diverse backgrounds. We appreciate all who attended and contributed to this meaningful discussion.
