Emerald Hills Institute

On March 19, Emerald Hills Institute held an interfaith iftar at the  Salt Lake Community College Taylorsville Campus. This special gathering brought together students from diverse faiths and backgrounds to celebrate breaking fast for Ramadan in a spirit of unity and understanding.

The event was sponsored by Emerald Hills Institute and the Kurdish Community of Utah, demonstrating a strong commitment to interfaith dialogue and cultural exchange. Additionally, it was supported by the Global Connections & Kurdish Student Leadership Club (GC & Kurdish Student Leadership Club) and LDSSA Taylorsville, further enriching the evening with a sense of community and collaboration.

Attendees shared a meal, engaged in meaningful conversations, and learned more about Ramadan and its significance, fostering a deeper sense of respect and togetherness among different religious and cultural groups.
