Emerald Hills Institute
On August 24th, Emerald Hills Institute had the honor of joining the Utah Jordan River Communication Council at the South Jordan Chapel for an evening of dialogue, learning, and community connection.

Our board president, Zeynep Kariparduc, shared her experiences in Utah and introduced the meaningful tradition of Noah’s Pudding (Aşure). This cultural dish, rooted in the story of Noah’s Ark, blends many different ingredients into one dessert—symbolizing how our diverse backgrounds create harmony and sweetness when we come together.

Following the presentation, council members enjoyed the pudding and engaged in uplifting conversations that deepened friendships and strengthened mutual understanding.

We sincerely thank Kimberly Ishoy for their warm invitation and hospitality, and all who participated in this memorable evening of interfaith connection.
