Emerald Hills Institute participated in the 2026 G20 Interfaith Forum, held October 15–17 in Salt Lake City under the theme “Resilient Hope, Shared Future.” The gathering brought together faith leaders, policymakers, scholars, and community practitioners from around the world to explore how faith communities can contribute to addressing shared global challenges.
Executive Director Zeynep Kariparduc represented EHI throughout the three-day forum, attending sessions and connecting with local and international leaders working to advance interfaith cooperation, understanding, and peacebuilding.
On the second day, EHI interns Norah Strong and Max Dillier staffed an information table alongside other interfaith organizations. They welcomed attendees, introduced EHI’s programs, and shared how our work brings people together through dialogue, arts, education, and community service.
EHI also welcomed several forum participants to our Cottonwood Heights office, offering an opportunity to continue conversations, share our work, and strengthen connections in a more personal setting.
Our participation included joining the forum’s service project, putting shared values into practice alongside fellow attendees.
From learning and exchanging ideas to welcoming guests and serving together, the experience reflected EHI’s commitment to building bridges across faiths and cultures. We thank the organizers, volunteers, and fellow participants for creating opportunities to connect and work toward a more peaceful and caring world.
